That's Classic?

Right now I'm watching Raising Helen on AMC (which, in case you didn't know, is an acronym for American Movie Classics).

RH was made in 2004. Yep, that's right, five years ago. Is that what passes for a classic American movie? Shouldn't it be at least, I don't know, 15 years? Even more would be more believable, but five years is way, way too recent.

However, in AMC-redeeming news, they're having a zombie count-down film fest coming up. That is straight-up Coke. (That's a little lingo that my nephew said unironically regarding a glass full of Coca-Cola that I'm trying to work into regular conversation. Could you help me with that?)

Have you seen the new one that just opened? Zombie's are a genre I have not explored, but I heard it was really funny.

I haven't, but it looks funny. It's being billed as horror comedy, which is a new genre, right?
