Right now I'm watching Raising Helen on AMC (which, in case you didn't know, is an acronym for American Movie Classics).
RH was made in 2004. Yep, that's right, five years ago. Is that what passes for a classic American movie? Shouldn't it be at least, I don't know, 15 years? Even more would be more believable, but five years is way, way too recent.
However, in AMC-redeeming news, they're having a zombie count-down film fest coming up. That is straight-up Coke. (That's a little lingo that my nephew said unironically regarding a glass full of Coca-Cola that I'm trying to work into regular conversation. Could you help me with that?)
Yowza, Crazy European Chick - I've been reading lots of books lately. Good books, some are even really good books, but nothing that I'd throw into the "Great" category. Until today. *...
